用雅思口语描述“人物”，你真的会吗？

 

雅思考试在全面恢复后，雅思口语的考题也再一次回到人们的视野，对于雅思考试P2部分，喜爱准备素材的同学们，我们今天针对人物类的素材整理带来了一些“硬货”，希望能够为正在备考雅思考试的同学们提供一些帮助。

众所周知，在P2部分口语中针对人物类一定会问到的问题就是：

 what he/she is like？

这个问法其实暗藏玄机，既可以理解为他/她长什么样子，也可以理解为他/她的性格是什么样子，这样来看其实我们可以从多方面作准备，这里节选了一部分文学作品中的描述的内容供大家参考：

An old man was standing before them, his wide, pale eyes shining like moons through the gloom of the shop.

一个老头站在他们面前，他那对颜色很浅的大眼睛在暗淡的店铺里像两轮闪亮的月亮。(人物描述）

 

Jason could see himself reflected in those misty eyes.

杰森已经看到老头混浊的眼睛里映出了自己的影子。（人物描述）

 

A little man in a top hat was talking to the old bartender, who was quite bald and looked like a toothless walnut.

一个戴大礼帽的小男人正在跟一个头发几乎脱光、长得像瘪胡桃似的酒吧老板聊天。

 

The goblin was about a head shorter than Harry.

这个妖精大约比哈利矮一头。

一个戴大礼帽的小男人正在跟一个头发几乎脱光、长得像瘪胡桃似的酒吧老板聊天。

 

He had a swarthy, clever face, a pointed beard and, Harry noticed, very long fingers and feet.

生着一张透着聪明的黝黑面孔，尖尖的胡子，哈利发现他的手和脚都特别长。

 

He believes he is quiet and obedient, always behaves perfect and couldn't do anything wrong. 

他相信他温和听话，一向表现很好，不会做出任何坏事。

 

He enjoys a debate and is more outgoing than his peers at other privately owned groups.

他喜欢辩论，也比其它私有集团的同行们更外向。
